"Mr. Lincoln"
Omar, his mother Irma and sister Patricia envision their farm as a coffee company and their bond is not only family, it extends to the business field. All the processes are organized and standardized to obtain a consistent grain in each washed, honey or natural batch, but every detail matters and to obtain the final product, the variety and harvest cycle are taken into account. Finca San Luis has belonged to them for 55 years and less than a decade ago it was transformed into organic production with agroforestry systems and forests associated with coffee, generating a positive effect on the biodiversity of its territory.
In the 60 hectares they own you can find exotic varieties such as Typica, Bourbon, Sidra, Sudan Rume and Geisha, and other traditional ones such as Caturra, Castillo and Tabi. Production reaches 60 tons thanks to the conditions of its location between 1700-1850 meters in the municipality of Libano/Tolima.
